Chris Stapleton returns to Austin City Limits to celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary in an hour-long performance set to premiere on Saturday (February 1). Stapleton’s set will feature live renditions of his current hits like “South Dakota” and “It Takes a Woman,” which is nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance. During his ACL performance, Stapleton is accompanied by his wife, Morgane Stapleton, and a band including Mickey Raphael from the Willie Nelson and Family band. The country superstar honored his influences during the set by covering Guy Clark‘s “Worry B Gone” as well as Tom Petty‘s “I Should Have Known It.” Earlier this week, Stapleton and Morgane’s charitable fund Outlaw State of Kind donated $1 million to fire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
