The Atlanta Braves are doing their Country Road trip and the first stop will be here in Macon, featuring a youth clinic with Braves alumni on the first day, followed by a free, outdoor public event on the second day, May 12th.
In addition to alumni and mascot appearances and “Meet and Greet” opportunities, there will be a “Taste of SunTrust Park” food trailer featuring free ballpark food samples and free waffles from Waffle House. Braves merchandise will be available and each event will feature games, a virtual reality tour of SunTrust Park, photo opportunities, and ticket giveaways.
Saturday, May 12th– Braves Country Road Trip 11 am – 3 pm
- Games: whiffle ball, cornhole, prize wheel, \’guess the Tomahawks\’ game, SunTrust Park VR
- Photo opportunities: replica SunTrust Park dugout and outfield wall, \’Chop On\’ letters, and giant bobbleheads
- Freebies: free promotional items, ticket giveaways, free waffles from Waffle House, \’Taste of SunTrust Park\’ Food Trailer with ballpark food to sample
